19. Less is more when it comes to artwork

Make your art a focal point in your space, but be careful not to go overboard. Additionally, “choose art that’s personal and evokes emotion but isn’t distracting,” says Tesa Michaels, an artist specializing in creating fine art with semi-precious stones. “Take into account size, hanging height, and framing options as well.”

Less can be more when it comes to art; however make sure if you are going by that to make it count! Get a piece of art that you will see it you ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! More is more when it comes to how much of an impact you can have on a piece of art. Art strategically placed and the piece it's self no matter the cost can and in my option should be the focal point.
